Select “PPTP<\/strong>” by tapping on it.<\/h4>\n

“Description<\/strong>” is the name of the connection, can be any as you like, we recommend StrongVPN<\/strong>.
\nFill the “Server<\/strong>“, “Account<\/strong>” and “Password<\/strong>” fields.
\n“Server<\/strong>” is your server address. It is not remote.sjtechies.com, that is just an example.
\n“Account<\/strong>” and “Password”<\/strong>. Account is neither Test\\jsmith\u00a0nor your email.
\n“Encryption Level<\/strong>” option must be set to “Auto<\/strong>“. “Send All Traffic<\/strong>” should be “ON<\/strong>“.
\nWhen the fields are filled up correctly, tap “Done<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

It will give you the warning about using the PPTP connection, which has some downsides.
\nTap Save<\/span> button. (Hint: If you want stronger encryption just use L2TP.)<\/p>\n

Step 9<\/h3>\n

Now connect by tapping the switch button to the right of VPN Status.
\n(If you have more than one VPN configuration listed, the one with a check next to it will be connected. You can tap on a vpn configuration name to select it, or tap on the ‘i’ to the right of the name if you need to update the settings.)<\/p>\n

It will show you “Connecting…<\/strong>” status, wait while it connects.
\nWhen the VPN connection is established the status will be “Connected<\/strong>“. Also notice the “VPN<\/strong>” badge on the top bar.<\/p>\n
