SSL Certificate Industry Change<\/span><\/p>\n
There\u2019s a pretty big change coming for SSL Certificates<\/span>. And, we think it\u2019s really important to keep you in the loop on these changes.<\/span><\/p>\n
The biggest change you need to be aware of: if you have an active SSL certificate<\/span> with an intranet name (e.g.\u2019server1?, \u2018mail\u2019, \u2018www\u2019, \u2018server2.local\u2019, etc.), or a reserved IP address, it\u2019s going to be revoked by October 1, 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n
Also, on July 1, 2012, customers will no longer be able to purchase, renew, rekey, or manage their SSLs with intranet names or IP addresses<\/span> that expire past November 1, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n
This is an industry-wide decision, not one specific to our company.<\/span><\/p>\n
